• Life-long Mississippian and Madison County Resident over 50 years.
• Has over 40 years of legal, business, and government experience.
• Licensed to practice law before courts in Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Colorado, and the District of Columbia.
• Appointed by President Trump during his first administration to serve as the White House Liaison for SBA; Senior Advisor to the SBA Advocacy; and worked for the White House on the Advance Team handling media. 
• Father to three adult children, Abby, Mitchell, and Jackson, and to furry friend, Triton, his English Cream Golden Retriever.
• Member of Broadmoor Baptist Church and regularly attends services at First Baptist Church in Canton.
• Being an avid outdoorsman, Mitch enjoys everything from outdoor exercise to being a member of Deer Lake Hunting Club in Camden. One of his biggest outdoor interests is tracking turtles at the beach!
